The Los Angeles Lakers returned to their winning ways following a 112-108 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday (PH time) at Xfinity Mobile Arena. LeBron James took over down the stretch for the Lakers, who improved their record to 17-6.

James scored five consecutive points after the Sixers tied the game at 105 to give the Lakers some breathing room. He knocked down a 3-pointer with 1:12 remaining before burying a long 2-point jumper with 27.4 seconds left to give Los Angeles a 110-105 advantage.

James finished the game with 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Luka Doncic, who missed the Lakers’ previous two games because of the birth of his second child, posted a triple-double in the win against the Sixers. He scored 31 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists in 39 minutes of action.

Tyrese Maxey scored a team-high 28 points for the Sixers, who fell to 13-10. Joel Embiid added 16 points on a woeful 4-of-21 shooting from the field.

Look at Curry sitting on the bench next door, then look at the omnipotent LeBron. This is the gap between the GOAT and an ordinary star!

Scoring 10 consecutive points + stealing the ball to seal the game in the final moments, the king of the Lakers is still LeBron!

A 41-year-old GOAT is still a GOAT. LeBron at the last moment remains a superstar!!
