The Denver Nuggets punched their way back into the win column after taking down the Phoenix Suns, 130-112, in their 2025-26 NBA regular-season clash on Sunday (PH time) at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix.

Denver was dialed in from deep, draining 22 triples and shooting an impressive 57.9% from beyond the arc. Tim Hardaway Jr. set the tone with seven makes on 11 attempts. Spencer Jones also caught fire from long range, knocking down 4-of-6, while Jamal Murray added five triples on 10 tries.

Phoenix kept things competitive through the first two quarters, but Denver flexed its strength after halftime. The Nuggets sparked a 9-2 run to build an 80-69 cushion midway through the third quarter.

They kept their foot on the gas, eventually pushing the lead to 21—their largest of the night—after one of Jones’ treys.

Nikola Jokic paced Denver with a near triple-double: 26 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds. Murray chipped in 24, while Hardaway Jr. added 23.

Now at 14-5, the Nuggets will try to build more momentum when they face the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. The Suns (12-9), meanwhile, will look to halt their two-game skid when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers on the same day.
