The Miami Heat outlasted the Milwaukee Bucks, 106-103, in their 2025 NBA Cup clash on Thursday (PH time) at Kaseya Center.

Clinging to a slim lead early in the fourth, the Heat finally created some breathing room with an 8-2 burst that pushed the advantage to 98-86, their biggest of the night.

But Milwaukee refused to fold, trimming the deficit to a one-possession game after Ryan Rollins converted a tough shot through contact.

The Bucks still had a chance to force overtime in the final seconds, but Myles Turner’s potential game-tying triple bounced off the mark as time expired.

Tyler Herro shone in his second game back, pouring in 29 points and 7 assists. Bam Adebayo added a solid double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Miami improved to 13-6 and extended its win streak to six games. Milwaukee, still without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the fourth straight outing, fell to 8-11 and absorbed its fourth loss in a row.

hot commentSpoelstra is still too stubborn! How many points have been conceded due to switching defense! The starting lineup is too short! Powell can be the sixth man!

The Bucks desperately need a true second-in-command, just like Middleton used to be. Now without Antetokounmpo, no one else knows how to play basketball.

The Heat still need to work on their chemistry. With more players available, they seem to be at a loss as to how to utilize them.

If Herro is absent, this game is very likely to be a big victory...
