The Cleveland Cavaliers cruised past the struggling Indiana Pacers, 120-109, in their 2025 NBA Cup group-stage showdown on Saturday morning (PH time) at Rocket Arena.
Donovan Mitchell spearheaded the Cavs with 32 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, anchoring a much-needed bounce-back win. Evan Mobley delivered a strong double-double of 22 points and 12 boards, while Darius Garland added 20.
Indiana made things interesting early in the fourth, slicing the lead to single digits with a 15-0 surge. But Cleveland immediately punched back with a 9-0 run to keep the visitors at arm’s length.
With the victory, the Cavaliers (11-6) remain in the hunt for the 2025 NBA Cup. The Pacers, meanwhile, continue to search for answers as they fall to 2-14.
