Tyrese Maxey exploded for a career-high with 54 points as the Philadelphia 76ers stole one on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks, 123-114, in overtime during their 2025-26 NBA regular season showdown this Friday (PH time) at Fiserv Forum.
Down two with 15 seconds left in regulation, Maxey fearlessly attacked the lane, drawing a foul on his acrobatic shot. He calmly sank both free throws to tie the score at 106, forcing overtime.
Quentin Grimes stepped up in the extra period, delivering timely baskets just as the Bucks threatened to swing the momentum back their way.
Meanwhile, Paul George turned in a vintage performance with 21 points and 5 rebounds, setting the tone early by knocking down his first four shots.
Playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks leaned on Ryan Rollins, who finished with a team-high 32 points. Joel Embiid, meanwhile, missed his sixth straight game for Philadelphia.
Now 9-6, the Sixers return home to prepare for a crucial Eastern Conference matchup against the Miami Heat on Monday.
