The Miami Heat protected their home court against the visiting Golden State Warriors, 110-96, during the 2025-26 NBA regular season on Thursday morning (PH time) at the Kaseya Center.

Norman Powell led the way with 25 points, including 17 in a decisive fourth quarter. Bam Adebayo, returning from a six-game absence, looked like his old self with 20 points and 7 rebounds.

The Warriors continued to struggle with their superstar point guard missing his second straight game. Brandin Podziemski carried the load on offense with 20 points, but it was not enough to keep his team afloat.

The Heat will travel to Chicago to face the Bulls on Saturday in a 2025 NBA Cup group stage matchup.

hot commentWithout Curry, Draymond Green, and Butler, I feel that the Warriors would have a hard time winning the championship even in the PBA

Anyway, Curry didn't play, so it's understandable to lose

Can the Warriors still win the play-in tournament this season? If they fail to make the playoffs, it would be a joke
