The Minnesota Timberwolves continues their strong run in the NBA 2025-26 season after defeating the Utah Jazz,120–113, in a Northwest Division matchup.
The win marked Minnesota’s third consecutive victory and handed Utah its sixth loss in the last seven games.
The two teams had met just three days earlier, when the Timberwolves cruised to a 40-point blowout win. This time, the Jazz were much more competitive, even holding a two-point lead at halftime.
However, in the third quarter, Anthony Edwards took over. The All-Star guard exploded for 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the period, helping the Timberwolves seize control and build a double-digit lead they never relinquished.
Edwards finished with 35 points, six rebounds, and six assists, continuing his dominant stretch of play. Julius Randle also delivered an all-around performance with 27 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
For the Jazz, Keyonte George led the team with 27 points, while Lauri Markkanen added 21 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
Up next, the Timberwolves will face the Sacramento Kings on November 15, while the Jazz will play the Indiana Pacers on the second night of a back-to-back.
