The Chicago Bulls pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, 113-111, Wednesday morning (Manila time), erasing a 24-point deficit in one of the most thrilling finishes of the 2025-26 NBA season so far.
Philadelphia looked dominant early, building a commanding 24-point cushion in the first half and still holding a comfortable 105-95 advantage early in the fourth quarter. But the Bulls just kept hanging around.
With under two minutes remaining, Chicago mounted one final push to trim the lead to 111-110. The Sixers had multiple chances to ice the game, but Joel Embiid missed a step-back jumper from 14 feet, while Tyrese Maxey’s potential game-sealing three also fell short.
That opened the door for the Bulls, and Nikola Vucevic seized the moment, burying a clutch three-pointer just before the buzzer to complete the comeback for Chicago.
Josh Giddey powered the Bulls with a herculean triple-double performance of 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists, while Vucevic contributed a steady 19 points and 10 rebounds.
For Philadelphia, Maxey poured in 39 points in a valiant effort, while Embiid added 20 markers in the heartbreaking loss.
