Red-hot Knicks avenge loss with 128–116 win over Bulls image
The New York Knicks caught fire from beyond the arc to earn a statement 128–116 victory over the previously unbeaten Chicago Bulls on Sunday night (Monday morning, Manila time) at Madison Square Garden.
 
New York dominated nearly every statistical category, but it was their blistering three-point shooting that proved decisive. The Knicks sank 20 of 42 attempts from deep or an impressive 47.6 percent clip to power their revenge win over their Eastern Conference rivals.
 
 
Six Knicks scored in double figures, led by Jalen Brunson’s 31 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Karl-Anthony Towns added a 20-point, 14-rebound double-double with two blocks, while OG Anunoby tallied 21 points, four assists, and two boards. Jordan Clarkson provided a spark off the bench with 15 points.
 
The Knicks built a lead as large as 25, but the Bulls mounted a late push to trim the deficit to 12 with under two minutes remaining. However, New York held firm to snap its two-game losing streak.
 
Josh Giddey led Chicago with a triple-double performance of 23 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds while Nikola Vučević scored a 17-point and 14-rebound double-double in a losing effort.
 
The Knicks continue their seven-game homestand on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Manila time) against the Washington Wizards, while the Bulls return to Chicago to host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday (Wednesday morning, Manila time).
