The Golden State Warriors relied on a balanced attack to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies, 131–118, on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time) at home.
Four Warriors scored 20 or more points, led by Jonathan Kuminga with 25. Brandin Podziemski followed with 23, while Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody added 20 apiece.
Stephen Curry chipped in 16 points, and Draymond Green dished out 10 assists.
The “third-quarter Warriors” were on full display again, as Moody drained back-to-back three-pointers to extend the lead to 88–75 before Curry connected two possessions later.
Veteran big man Al Horford sat out due to a toe injury, but head coach Steve Kerr said he’s expected to suit up in their next game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
For Memphis, Ja Morant led the way with 23 points and nine assists.
