Chet Holmgren showed no signs of slowing down despite battling back soreness, exploding for a season-high 31 points and 12 rebounds to lift the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Atlanta Hawks, 117–100, on Sunday morning (Manila time) at State Farm Arena.

The Thunder big man was dominant on both ends, anchoring Oklahoma City’s paint presence while providing consistent scoring throughout the night. His energy set the tone for the defending champions, who extended their winning streak to three games.

Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added another stellar performance, pouring in 30 points on efficient 12-out-of 17 shooting along with five rebounds and five assists.

Gilgeous-Alexander spearheaded a decisive third-quarter run that blew the game open, turning a modest five-point halftime lead into a commanding 20-point cushion.

Trae Young paced the Hawks with 15 points and 10 assists, but Atlanta struggled to find offensive rhythm against Oklahoma City’s swarming defense.
