The New York Knicks took a commanding 2-0 series lead after edging the Philadelphia 76ers, 108-102, on Thursday morning (PH time) at Madison Square Garden.
It was a tightly contested battle that featured 25 lead changes, the most in an NBA playoff game in the last 13 years.

After suffering a blowout loss in Game 1, Philadelphia responded with a much sharper effort despite missing former MVP Joel Embiid, who sat out due to hip and ankle injuries.
The Sixers remained within striking distance deep into the fourth, but New York showed composure in crunch time as Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges combined for three straight buckets to create crucial separation late.
Down five in the closing seconds, Paul George missed a potential momentum-shifting three, allowing the Knicks to close out the victory.

Brunson paced New York with 26 points and six assists, while OG Anunoby added 24 points and five rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in 20 points, while Bridges finished with 18.
The Knicks head to Philadelphia with a 2-0 lead as Game 3 shifts to the Sixers’ home floor on Saturday.
