NLEX head coach Jong Uichico made it clear that the Road Warriors aren’t celebrating just yet, even after locking up the No. 1 seed in the PBA 50 Commissioner’s Cup following their 123-112 overtime win against Titan Ultra.
The nail-biting victory against the Giant Risers last Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium enabled the Road Warriors to become the only team to reach the 10-win mark in the tournament.
"We haven't accomplished anything," said Uichico, when he was asked about what he feels after the Road Warriors clinched the best record in the tournament. "It's just the elimination round. The last two conferences we were in the top four also."

"We're just No. 1 in the eliminations, so it's something to be happy about, but it's nothing to be satisfied about," the veteran basketball tactician added.
Meanwhile, Robert Bolick admitted that the squad still have to work on their consistency. The Giant Risers led most of the game before extra regulation where NLEX's firepower came on top.
"We can't perform like this," said Bolick, who scooped the Best Player of the Game citation after his triple double performance of 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Bolick said NLEX cannot afford to relax since the playoffs will be a different beast to tame for the Road Warriors.
"In the playoffs, every possession counts, so we should always be ready to play. Hopefully this will be an eye-opener for us," he added.
