Stephen Curry will be re-evaluated in 10 days as he continues to recover from a lingering right knee injury, ESPN’s Anthony Slater reported.
Curry described the knee as “unpredictable,” noting that while it is improving, the recovery timeline guarantees he will miss at least the Golden State Warriors’ next five games. He has already been sidelined for the team’s last 10 contests. During the upcoming stretch, Golden State is set to face the Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz, and Chicago Bulls.
The 37-year-old has appeared in 39 games this season, averaging 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists. The Warriors currently sit at 31-29, good for eighth place in the Western Conference.
Golden State went 4-6 in February without Curry, underscoring the impact of his absence as the team fights to solidify its playoff positioning.
