RR Pogoy will miss the remainder of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup semifinals after sustaining an injury.
In an official social media announcement, TNT confirmed that Pogoy suffered a hamstring strain that will sideline him for at least two weeks.
The timetable also puts his availability for the PBA finals in doubt should TNT advance.
“I felt that in our last game, but it gave in now, though it is just Grade 1. It is just a strain,” said Pogoy.
Pogoy logged just 62 seconds in Game 4 before exiting due to the injury, as TNT went on to secure a 102–83 victory.
The veteran guard later revealed that it was the same injury he dealt with last season.
